An International Space Weather Camp is being held jointly in Neustrlitz, German and Huntsville, Alabama, USA from 20 June to 27 July 2025. I will be presenting the talk Remote Ionospheric Diagnostics in Neustrlitz on Tuesday 8 July. The talk draws on material in the paper On Phase Screen Models for Scintillation Diagnostics, which has been accepted for publication in Radio Science, pending acceptance of minor changes. On Thursday 10 July I will be presenting a related seminar Beyond the Parabolic Approximation, which draws on unpublished material Scintillation Teory Revisited. The material summarizes two ongoing efforts, to expand largely morphological scintillation studies to include definitive structure characteristics and to a knowledge limitations to extending the extensively used multiple phase screen methods to accommodate consistently highly refractive mode sensitive vector environments.
